Frequently Asked Questions treatments

Facials - FAQ's

Q: How often should I have a facial?

A: For most skin types, every 4–6 weeks is ideal. This aligns with the skin’s natural cell turnover and helps maintain healthy, glowing skin.

Q: Will a facial make me break out?

A: Some people experience a mild purge as impurities surface, but this usually settles quickly, leaving your skin clearer.

Q: Are facials suitable during pregnancy?

A: Many gentle facials are safe, but we avoid strong acids, retinoids, and electrical treatments. Let us know if you’re pregnant so we can tailor your facial safely.

Q: How should I prepare for my appointment?

A: Arrive with clean skin and avoid harsh exfoliants, retinoids, or sun exposure for 24 hours beforehand.

Dermaplaning - FAQ's

Q: Will dermaplaning make my hair grow back thicker?

A: No, the fine vellus hair ('peach fuzz') grows back at the same rate and texture.

Q: Is dermaplaning painful?

A: Not at all! You’ll feel gentle scraping, but it’s comfortable and doesn’t require downtime.

Q: How often can I have dermaplaning?

A: Every 4–6 weeks is common to maintain smooth, radiant skin.

Q: Can dermaplaning cause cuts?

A: When performed by a trained professional, cuts are rare. We use a sterile blade and precise technique.

Microneedling - FAQ's

Q: What does microneedling do?

A: It creates tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin to boost collagen, smooth texture, and improve scars, pores, and fine lines.

Q: Is it painful?

A: no although the T zone area can be sensitive ,but most people find it very tolerable.

Q: How many sessions will I need?

A: A course of 3–6 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, is typically recommended for best results.

Q: Is there downtime?

A: Expect redness for 24–48 hours. Makeup should be avoided for a day or two while the skin heals.

Biorepeel - FAQ's

Q: What is BioRePeel?

A: It’s a gentle but effective chemical peel that exfoliates dead skin cells, brightens tone, and stimulates new collagen — with little to no downtime.

Q: How soon will I see results?

A: Many notice a glow after the first treatment, with cumulative improvements after a course of 4–6 sessions.

Q: Does BioRePeel hurt?

A: You may feel mild tingling or warmth, but it’s generally very comfortable.

Q: Can I combine BioRePeel with other treatments?

A: Yes, it pairs well with facials or dermaplaning (when done in the correct order) but should be spaced appropriately from microneedling or laser.

laser hair removal - FAQ's

Q: Is laser hair removal permanent?

A: It offers long-term reduction by targeting follicles in their growth phase. Most clients see a lasting 80–90% reduction after a full course, with occasional top-ups.

Q: Does it hurt?

A: You’ll feel a quick, warm snap, similar to a rubber band, but it’s generally well tolerated.

Q: How many sessions will I need?

A: Usually 6–8, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, depending on the area and your hair growth cycle.

Q: Is laser hair removal safe for all skin types?

A: Modern lasers work on most skin tones, but settings must be tailored. We’ll do a consultation and patch test before starting.

Q: Can I wax or pluck between sessions?

A: No,  only shaving is recommended, as other methods remove the follicle the laser targets.
